Make delicious Indian dishes at home with this Green chicken kebab recipe.
This yummy dish would be great on the BBQ with a few friends.
Green chicken kebabs
150g spinach leaves
25g fresh mint
25g fresh coriander
1 green chilli
200g natural yogurt
1 tablespoon of garlic
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
450g of skinless chicken breast cut into pieces
Bring a pot of salt water to the boil and quickly blanch the spinach leaves and refresh them by plunging them in cold water and drain. Place the spinach in a food processor with the mint, coriander and chilli, blend into a paste and place it in a bowl.
In a separate bowl mix the yogurt with egg yolk, Garam Marsala, garlic and the spinach paste add salt if preferred. Add the chicken to this mix and allow it to marinade for a few hrs.
Place the marinated chicken onto skewers and cook in a pan, BBQ or grill.
